Quite a lot of time was spent choosing which seeds we were going to plant. We wanted to avoid grass mixes and also hybrid varieties because we are hoping to gather seeds in the autumn to replant the annuals for the following year and hybrid seeds are sterile.
In the end Sally chose Grecian meadow flowers with over 50 varieties of butterfly/bee friendly flowers with additional seeds from the Bumblbee Conservation Trust thrown in for good measure.
