Apples with Friends

The ceremonial planting of these two trees was a poignant moment, because where our houses were built once stood a thriving natural environment surrounded by apple orchards. We feel we have gone some way to honour the orchard that was felled, by replanting some apple trees. This had been one of the visions of Paradise Community Gardens and one we intend to grow.
