Any of you who have been following Paradise's journey with caring for our local hedgehogs will know how their very favourite meal is 'mushy mealworms' Last night Sally experimented with another recipe as a 'side dish' for them - it was equally popular. Here's the recipe

4 parts unsalted peanuts 2 parts pumpkin seeds 2 part walnuts 1 part sunflower seeds 1 part raisins sprinkling of vegetable suet
Measuring out the ingredients doesn't have to be an exact science which is why I've used 'parts' for the recipe. You need mostly peanuts, half the amount of pumpkin and walnut and then 1/4 the amount of sunflower seeds and raisins. Whizz this all up in a coffee or nut grinder until it is ground into small chunks and serve! If leaving outside uncovered, remove the raisins as these are toxic to dogs. p.s. I used organic ingredients where possible.
